Thus, I have created a high protein recipe that you can throw together in 1 minute. And guess what?! It’s chocolate.
I present to you: MUG PROTEIN BROWNIES! All that you need are the ingredients listed below, a microwave, a mug, and a spoon to stuff your face with. 225 calories and 32 grams of protein? Yes LAWD!

Throw these ingredients together in a large mug, stir, and microwave for 1 minute. Voila! A tasty, high protein treat for you in just minutes. Curb those cravings (for me, it’s alllll about CHOCOLATE!) and stay on track.
- 1 scoop Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein Powder in chocolate
- 1 tbsp cup cashew (or almond/coconut) milk
- 1 tsp cocoa powder (or less, depending on how chocolatey you want it!)
- 1 large egg
- 3 tbsp stevia
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
Be sure to watch it in the microwave! Depending on your microwave’s wattage, the brownie may want to boil over.
Here’s what mine looks like! The little craters are due to the bubbling/boiling that happened while it cooked in the microwave!
